Myles Yates (he/him) is a Black poet residing in Florida. His first book, tentatively titled Mixtape, will be published by Game Over Books. You can find his work on Freezeray Poetry, The Blunt Space, Preposition Anthology, Anthem Anthology, and Variety Pack. He is focused on making poetry that is rooted in music, memory, and the melody in between. A performer all the way through, Myles is a dancer, a sunset photographer, and someone who wants to discover and learn new music.
