Stephanie Chan, also known as Stephanie Dogfoot, is a poet and performer from Singapore. They are the 2010 Singapore Poetry Slam Champion and the 2012 UK Poetry Slam Champion. They are the author of the poetry collection Roadkill for Beginners (Math Paper Press, 2019) and a co-editor of  EXHALE: An Anthology of Queer Singapore Voices (Math Paper Press, 2021). They have performed their work in 14 countries, including tours of Germany, Australia and North America. Passionate about building spoken word communities, they have been hosting and running poetry nights in London and Singapore since 2012. Stephanie is the founder of Spoke and Bird, a monthly poetry night which features local and international artists and which is currently Singapore’s longest-running poetry open mic. They are inspired by joy, resistance, mud and large mammals.
