Maria Gray is a poet and writer from Portland, Oregon, currently living in Brooklyn, New York. Her poetry is forthcoming from or published by Best New Poets, ONLY POEMS, Foglifter, Brooklyn Poets, and others. She was longlisted for The Adroit Journal's Djanikian Scholars Program in 2024 and ONLY POEMS' Poet of the Year Prize in both 2024 and 2025, and she has received additional honors and fellowships from Bates College, New York University, and Hunter College, where she is pursuing her MFA in creative writing.
